Technical Specification

HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) strength tape is a versatile and durable product used in various industrial, construction, and packaging applications. While specifications can vary depending on the manufacturer and intended use, here are general specifications for HDPE strength tape:

Material: High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

Lightweight, strong, and resistant to chemicals and UV radiation.

Thickness:

Typically ranges from 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm, depending on application requirements.

Width:

Commonly available in 10 mm to 100 mm widths, but custom widths may be produced.

Tensile Strength:

High tensile strength, typically around 50-150 MPa, ensuring durability under stress.

Elongation at Break:

Usually ranges from 10% to 20%, offering flexibility without tearing.

Adhesive:

Available with or without adhesive.

Adhesive options include acrylic, rubber, or hot-melt adhesives, depending on usage.

Surface Finish: Smooth or textured, depending on the specific requirement (e.g., slip resistance).

Temperature Resistance:

Operates effectively in a temperature range of -40°C to 80°C.

Chemical Resistance:

Excellent resistance to most chemicals, oils, and solvents, making it suitable for industrial environments.

UV Resistance:

UV-stabilized variants available for outdoor applications.

Color:

Commonly available in black, white, or transparent; custom colors may be available.

Applications:

qUALITY aSSURANCE

Every sample from the VCI Batch is tested according to German TL-8135 for VIA (Vapour Inhibition Ability) and results are filed with the sample by us. A sample bag from every production is stored in a sealed bag which would allow us to run a test at any time in the future in the case of a claim.
